We hear a lot of talk about bihazards and some storires about biohazards give us the creeps. So what's it all about? How do biohazards differ? Do some biohazards create illness, disease, and death or do they all create these problems for humanity?
On this page and others to follow I will tell what I have learned about biohazards. At the outset, I should say that the word "biohazards" consists of two parts: bio and hazards. Bio means life and hazard means dangerous. So we have a life danger with biohazards exist.

The world of biohazardous organisms consists of micro-organisms. Now days we often hear the term HIV and the disease it leads to, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrone. Hundreds of thousands of different types of bacteria exist within the tiny world of micro-organisms. Most bacteria do no harm to humans, and many help use by creating vitamins for our bodies and digesting food.
